WWE SmackDown‘s viewership increased on June 7.
According to Wrestlenomics, 2.07 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.61 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The preliminary viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 2.31 million viewers tuned in. The demo also dipped compared to last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.65 rating in the same demographic.
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a segment from The Bloodline with Paul Heyman giving new tagline names for Tama Tonga and Tona Loa. Kevin Owens and The Street Profits came out, and everyone brawled to set up the main event.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Afterward, they were attacked by Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, and Isla Dawn.
LA Knight was also in action and picked up a win over Carmelo Hayes. Knight continues to push for a United States Championship match with Logan Paul.
The main event of the show saw Kevin Owens and The Street Profits defeat The Bloodline in a six-man tag match via disqualification. Following the match, The Bloodline laid out everyone and put Owens through the commentator’s table with a Shield triple powerbomb
