Report: Natalya And WWE Still In Talks, Have Yet To Agree To New Deal

Natalya and WWE have yet to agree to terms on a new deal, according to a new report.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the two sides have been in talks, as her contract is set to expire in June. However, Sapp confirms that Natalya and WWE have yet to reach a new deal, as of June 6. The veteran has been featured on NXT and is seemingly set for a new storyline on WWE RAW.

Sapp also reports that there is expected to be interest in Natalya from a variety of companies around the world in roles in addition to her in-ring work. The report notes that Natalya possibly working AEW’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament was “plausible”, depending when the tournament starts. There is no word as to whether AEW expects this possibility.

Natalya has recently been featured on NXT and is seemingly set for a new storyline on WWE RAW. She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and Divas Champion, among other accolades. She has been with the company since 2007 and holds multiple world records.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
