A NJPW star’s contract is set to expire in the near future, according to a new report.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Shane Haste is set to hit free agency at some point in June if he and NJPW do not reach a new deal. Haste’s contract is set to expire, and there is no word on whether the two sides have had talks.
Haste and Mikey Nicholls have been teaming up as TMDK. They won the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships but lost them to Hikuleo and El Phantasmo at NJPW Resurgence.
Previously, Haste had a memorable run in WWE as Slapjack, a member of Retribution. He has also wrestled for NOAH and other promotions.
