Report: Humberto Carrillo’s WWE Contract Will Expire This Summer

Yet another WWE contract is set to expire in the near future. Humberto Carrillo‘s deal is reportedly coming up soon.

On June 3, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Angel Garza’s WWE deal was set to expire on August 1. In an update, Fightful Select reports that Humberto Carrillo’s contract is set to expire that same day. The report notes that, as with Garza, WWE is interested in keeping Carrillo, they have made him an offer, and they are negotiating.

Humberto Carrillo has been with WWE since 2018. He initially competed on NXT and 205 Live before he moved to RAW in 2019. Carillo formed the Los Lotharios tag team with his real-life cousin, Angel Garza, in 2021. The duo later returned to NXT, but they moved back to SmackDown and aligned with Santos Escobar as members of Legado del Fantasma in December 2023.

Before he landed in WWE, Carillo wrestled for The Crash Lucha Libre, among other promotions. There, he and Garza held the tag team titles.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
