Pat McAfee Calls Being On WWE Commentary An Absolute Honor

Pat McAfee says being allowed to do WWE commentary as a job is an “absolute honor.”

Pat McAfee has been working with WWE in some capacity since 2018. He appeared on pre-show panels for NXT events and other shows. McAfee then feuded with Adam Cole and faced him at NXT TakeOver XXX. He later moved to SmackDown in April 2021 as he joined the commentary team alongside Michael Cole.

McAfee stepped away from WWE in September 2022 as he joined ESPN College GameDay. He returned to WWE full-time in January 2024, and he is part of the RAW commentary team with Cole.

WWE highlighted some of the most “hilarious” moments on commentary in 2024 in a video on YouTube. McAfee shared the video and wrote that it was an absolute honor to be allowed to do this as a job. He also praised Cole and Corey Graves and highlighted working with Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 40.

Michael Cole previously said that he was confident that Corey Graves would be the one to replace him. Check out his comments here.
