“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May appeared in a video package at STARDOM‘s recent show in Korakuen Hall to call out Mina Shirakawa, and Shirakawa accepted the challenge.
“Hello, STARDOM. This is your AEW Women’s World Champion and STARDOM legend: Timeless Toni Storm … Mina-san! I see you’ve been at AEW when I’ve not been around. I’m watching you. I’m watching you. You do not need to knock. You do not need to ring the doorbell, because I have opened the Forbidden Door, and I want you! But don’t worry. Any friend of Mariah’s is a friend of mine. I just want to see what kind of woman you really are,” Toni said.
Mina responded to the video package saying “Toni Storm! You want me? Everyone wants me. Oh, I’m so busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy! I know you are legend. Legend recognizes legend, but it can’t recognize that you are the best for Mariah? No, no, no, no, no. I am the first mentor of Mariah, and best friend, and best partner. So, I am coming for you Toni! Anytime. Anywhere. So, Toni Storm, chin up, tits out, and watch out for me!”
The tensions between Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa began at STARDOM’s American Dream show in Philadelphia this past April. Toni appeared on the show to give Mariah her flowers post-match, and her arrival upset Mina.
Mina Shirakawa And Mariah May
Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May were former tag team partners under the Club Venus faction known as “Rose Gold”. Since then, Toni and Mina have fought for Mariah’s hand as Mina has appeared on multiple episodes of AEW Dynamite to save Mariah from post-match assaults.
With Toni Storm teasing the term “Forbidden Door” as often as she has, her match against Mina could take place at the upcoming AEW Forbidden Door event. This would mark the first time in history that AEW has partnered with STARDOM for a major co-promoted show.
