A new title match has been added to the card for WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
On the May 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. Bianca Belair lost to Nia Jax in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. In a backstage segment after the bout, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell confronted Belair and talked some trash. Jade Cargill, Belair’s tag team partner, gave Belair some backup. Hartwell and LeRae left, and Cargill noted that it seemed like they “want their wigs split.”
Later in the show, WWE confirmed that Cargill and Belair would defend their titles against Hartwell and LeRae on the Countdown to WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
Belair and Cargill won the titles when they defeated the Kabuki Warriors at WWE Backlash France.
