The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is officially heading to Hollywood.
Last month, it was reported that Rhodes had been cast in a role in the upcoming Naked Gun movie reboot. However, at the time, no reliable movie industry websites had confirmed this information.
We now have official confirmation of Cody Rhodes’ inclusion. Deadline has confirmed that the WWE Superstar, Busta Rhymes, Liza Koshy, and CCH Pounder will round out the star-studded cast.
This is in addition to the already announced cast of Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston.
To back up last month’s report, Deadline also notes that Rhodes’ part will be a cameo. The WWE Champion is no stranger to Hollywood, as he was featured in seven episodes of DC Comics’ show Arrow from 2016 to 2018.
The Naked Gun reboot is scheduled to hit theaters July 18, 2025.
