Logan Paul says Cody Rhodes’ story is over, and he’s going to take his title at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
At WWE King and Queen of the Ring, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Logan Paul.
During a recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Paul was asked about Rhodes finishing his story at WWE WrestleMania and what he wanted his own story to be.
“My story hasn’t even begun yet,” Logan Paul said. “Cody’s story is great, it’s highly captivating, we all watched it. The thing about Cody’s story, though, it’s over. Am I wrong? Cody said finish the story, he finished the story, congratulations, you won, he’s been an excellent champion. And he’ll always be remembered as an excellent champion, for about two months.
“That’s where I come in. I am a forever champion, I will be a forever champion for the rest of my life. My last name is Paul, there’s two of me. One’s gonna beat Mike Tyson, one’s gonna beat Cody Rhodes. You will not be able to talk about combat sports without hearing the last name Paul.”
Logan Paul On Cody Rhodes Respecting Him
Logan Paul was then asked if he thinks Rhodes respects him. As far as Paul is concerned, he has no choice but to.
“He has to,” Logan Paul said. “Cody has to respect me, what are we even talking about? Look at what I’ve done in my life, and I’m six years old. I’m warming up, that’s what I’m saying. My story hasn’t even started, I haven’t even had my first child yet. I’m a baby walking around backstage, and everyone else? They’ve done this, they’re seasoned, they’re veterans. Me? After I do this tonight, I’m going to go do 100 other things. Build a business, kiss my wife, answer emails, retake the IQ test so I can get higher than you.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE King and Queen of the Ring as it airs on May 25.
