For a long time, ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio has been claiming that Eddie Guerrero is his wrestling father. Recently, he opened up about how much time he had spent with Latino Heat and his family.
Dominik Mysterio was a special guest on the Masked Show. During his appearance, he opened up about how he was blessed to have shared the ring with Eddie Guerrero.
“Man! I feel like we had a really tight connection. You know, the Guerreros were always good friends of the Mysterios. So, whenever they were in town, whether it was Chavo, Eddie, or whoever it was. We end up hanging out. They would always come over to the house, have dinner, whatnot. When we are on the road, we go out to dinner with them. And the fact that I was just able to see those different sides of Eddie that not a lot of people got to see. People who see the Eddie Guerrero out in the ring, where he was just an animal, a beast, he is just out there doing his thing in the ring.
“And then, I got to see the lovable, caring, family man that Eddie was, outside of the ring. That was really cool to see. And at that time, as a kid, not really appreciating it, and what was going on, and realizing that I was sharing the ring with one of the greatest to ever do it… At eight years old. So, it’s like… Things like that don’t really hit me. But now as an adult, being in the business and seeing what he has done for it, and the impact that he still has on it is really cool to see man. It’s just, I’m very blessed to be part of his history,” Dominik Mysterio said.
