Cody Rhodes vs. Logan Paul At WWE King And Queen Of The Ring To Be For Undisputed WWE Title Only

Logan Paul clarifies that he did not sign up to defend his title at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.

As announced on the May 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE United States Champion Logan Paul will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. Rhodes made it clear that he wanted to win Paul’s title. He then tweeted that the match was for all the gold.

Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul were set to sign the contract for their title match at WWE King and Queen of the Ring on the May 17 episode of WWE SmackDown. Instead, Paul ripped up the contract. He noted that defending his title was not what he signed up for. He revealed that he had a lawyer draw up a new contract for a match that was for Rhodes’ title only.

Logan Paul said that Rhodes had not done anything to earn a shot at the WWE United States Championship. Rhodes said that Paul would find out who he was at the premium live event. He stated that a WWE Hall of Famer would knock out Jake Paul, and a future Hall of Famer would beat Logan. Rhodes was referencing Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson.

They brawled, and Rhodes stood tall. He posed with his title and threw Paul’s championship back to him.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE King and Queen of the Ring on May 25.
