Peyton Royce comments on potentially returning to WWE for the Royal Rumble.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Peyton Royce had a memorable run in WWE. She and Billie Kay teamed up as the IIConics before they split up. WWE released the duo in a wave of cuts in April 2021. After they had a prominent run in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, the duo took some time away from wrestling, and Lee became a mom. She returned to the ring in October 2023.
Speaking with Ring The Belle, Peyton Royce was asked to comment on what she would think about potentially making a special return for WWE Royal Rumble.
“Yeah, I’m open to it, for sure. I would love that,” Peyton Royce said. “It’d be so good to catch up. I mean, it’s the Royal Rumble. We said no last time because we were still pretty hurt about [getting released]. But I feel healed now, and I feel like I’d love to do that if the opportunity came.”
