As the show kicks off, Drew McIntyre walks in the building and heads straight to the ring.

In-Ring Segment: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre says CM Punk has convinced everyone to trust him no matter how many times he breaks our trust. McIntyre exclaims that you are stupid if you are a CM Punk fan. Last week, Punk challenged me to a fight, and he ran away. McIntyre promises to punish Punk when he gets him hands on him. McIntyre notes that Jey Uso stole his title shot and his spot in the King of the Ring. The crowd boos. McIntyre also promises to take care of the paper champion, Damian Priest. Damian Priest’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring.

Priest says McIntyre has serious issues. Priest says McIntyre should say what he has to say to his face. McIntyre outs over Priest, but notes Priest isn’t fit to be champion. The World title is in it’s infancy, it needs McIntyre. Priest tells McIntyre to look in a mirror and blame that a$$hole. Priest wanted to cash in of Seth Rollins, but McIntyre kepts stopping it from happening.

McIntyre even told Priest that if he was smart, he would cash in after McIntyre beat Rollins at WrestleMania. Priest goes on to say that McIntyre managed to make Punk more important than McIntyre’s moment, the championship, and McIntyre’s wife. If McIntyre wants a title shot, he’s got it. Priest gets in McIntyre’s face and tells him that he’s going to show him what kind of champion he is.

Queen of the Ring Quarterfinals Match: Iyo Sky vs. Shayna Baszler

Baszler attacks Sky during her entrance. After the break, Baszler works over Sky’s arm. Sky tries to fire up. Baszler lands an armDT. Sky goes up top. Baszler cuts her off and tries to set up a gut wrench. Sky slips out and knocks Baszler off the top. Baszler’s leg gets caught in the ropes. Sky lands an Asai moonsault.

After the break, Sky tries the Over the Moonsault, but Baszler
gets her feet up. Sky blocks it. Sky rolls Baszler in a prawn hold. Baszler reverses that into the Kirifuda Clutch. Sky reverses that into an STF. Baszler escapes and lands a running knee. Sky kicks out. Sky blocks Baszler’s knee attempt and lands a dragon screw. Over the Moonsault by Sky. Sky pins Baszler.

Winner- Iyo Sky

Backstage, Chad Gabe berates the rest of Alpha Academy. Maxxine Dupri is a loser, Tozawa better not blow his match tonight, and Otis needs to take care of Sami Zayn tonight for Gable. Ivy Nile walks in and tries to give Dupri words of encouragement. Gable walks back in and tells Nile that she has potential, but she is wasting her time with Taylor “Not So” Swift over there.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston says tonight against Gunther is about more than the KoR. It’s about revenge for what Gunther did to his boy Xavier Woods.

King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Gunther

While Gunther makes his way to the ring, Kingston lands a dive. Kingston works over Gunther’s knee. Gunther sends Kingston into the apron. Kingston lands another dive. Kingston slams Gunther’s leg into the ring apron. Before Gunther can respond or the bell can ring, Kingston slams Gunther’s knee into the ring post. Gunther’s leg gets hung in the rope. Kingston drop kicks Gunther’s knee. The referee rings the bell.

Kingston continues his assault. Kingston lands a leg drop off the top. Gunther kicks out. Gunther rolls out of the ring. Kingston dives through the ropes but gets caught by Gunther. Gunther drives Kingston into the ring apron. Gunther suplexes Kingston on the barricade, followed by the commentary desk. Kingston screams in pain as Gunther traps him in a Boston crab on the commentary desk. The referee forces Gunther to break the hold. Gunther locks Kingston in a single-leg crab instead.

After the break, Kingston and Gunther trade big shots. Kingston lands Trouble in Paradise out on the floor. Gunther is almost counted out. Gunther reverses Trouble in Paradise into a Powerbomb. Kingston kicks out, but Gunther immediately transitions into a Boston Crab. Kingston taps out.

Winner- Gunther

Backstage, Liv Morgan interrupts an interview Lyra Valkyria is having. Morgan disparages Becky Lynch. Valkyria tells Morgan to tell Lynch herself. Morgan turns around, and Lynch drops her with one punch.

Bronson Reed vs. Akira Tozawa w/Chad Gable

Tozawa lands a few strikes. Reed goes down after a drop kick off the top by Tozawa. Tozawa rips off his shirt, Hulk Hogan-style. Tozawa tries a senton off the top, Reed catches Tozawa and hits a DVD. Reed flattens Tozawa with a Tsunami for the win.

Winner-Bronson Reed

After the match, Gable berates Tozawa for losing.

Backstage, Ludwig Kaiser takes a moment to run down all of Gunther’s potential opponents in the King of the Ring Tournament.

Adam Pearce announces that there will be a fatal four-way match to determine the number one contenders for the World Tag team Titles. The Authors of Pain will face New Catch Republic, The Creed Brothers, and The Judgement Day.

Queen of the Ring Quarterfinals Match: Zoey Stark vs. Lyra Valkyria

Stark and Valkyria trade strikes and takedowns. After the break, Stark lands a springboard missile dropkick for a near fall. Stark works over Valkyria. Valkyria fires up and lands a flurry of strikes. Stark rolls out of the ring. Valkyria lands a dropkick through the ropes. Top rope crossbody by Valkyria.

Tornado DDT by Valkyria. Stark kicks out. Valkyria and Stark trade kicks. Half Nelson suplex by Stark. Valkyria kicks out. Stark is livid. Stark misses a dive but lands on her feet. Valkyria nails Stark with a spinning heel kick. Valkyria tries another Tornado DDT, but Stark counters with a suplex into the corner. Stark tries the Z360, but Valkyria reverses it into the Nightwing for the win.

Winner- Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Valkyria cuts a promo in Galiec. Valkyria says she goes as the crow flies, straight to the top!

Backstage, Jey Uso promises to Yeet down on Ilja Dragunov.

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Otis w/Chad Gable

Otis beats Zayn into the corner. Spinning back elbow by Otis. Gable cheers as Otis crushes Zayn in the corner. Otis calls for the Caterpillar. Gable hops on the apron and tells Otis no. Otis rips off his shirt and hits the Caterpillar anyways. Gable yells at Otis. Otis goes up top and misses a Vader Bomb. Otis ends up in the corner. Helluva Kick by Zayn. Zayn pins Otis.

Winner- Sami Zayn

After the match, Gable yells at Otis, and Pie faces him. Zayn runs back into the ring and suplexes Gable into the corner. Gable narrowly avoids eating a Helluva Kick. Otis helps Gable up. Gable tells Otis this is his fault. Gable slaps Otis. Otis sheepishly follows behind Gable to the back.

Backstage, JD McDonagh gets in Braun Strowman’s face and tells him to stay out of The Judgement Day’s business. Strowman laughs about it.

WWE Woman’s World Champion Becky Lynch vs. Dakota Kai w/ Damage CTRL

Lynch works over Kai. After a distraction from Sane and Sky, Kai boots Lynch off the top rope with a big boot. Kai beats down Lynch. Lynch counters a running boot from Kai with a springboard kick in the corner. After the break, the fight spills out to the apron. Kai misses a leaping stomp. Lynch lands a rope hang dropkick. Kai kicks out. Kai avoids the Manhandle Slam and lands a pump kick. Lynch kicks out. Superplex by Lynch. Lynch tries to roll into an armbar. Kai counters into a pin. Lynch kicks out. Kai and Lynch trade pin attempts. Lynch rolls Kai into the Disarmher. Before Kai can tap, Sky and Sane attack Lynch, causing a disqualification.

Winner- Becky Lynch

After the match, Damage CTRL takes turns beating up Lynch. Lyra Valkyria makes the save. In the confusion, Liv Morgan hops the barricade and sends Lynch into the post. Morgan slips away.

Number One Contender’s Match: New Catch Republic vs. The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) vs. The Creed Brothers vs. The Authors of Pain w/ The Final Testament

The Tag Champion The Awesome Truth are at the commentary desk for this match. McDonagh and Bálor work over Bate in their corner. Bate tags in Dunne. Bate and Dunne land a double backdrop. Dunne snaps McDonagh’s fingers. The AoP clears the ring. Akam and Rezar tosses McDonagh over the top rope on top of everyone else. After the break, Julius gets the tag. Julius suplexes everyone. Bálor and McDonagh attack Julius. Julius suplexes both men at the same time. Standing Shooting Star by Julius.

Dunne and Bate land stereo moonsaults off the apron, taking out Rezar and Akam. Julius hops up top and superplexes Bálor. The AoP breaks up the pin. Brutus Suplexes Akam. Brutus goes up top. Bate gates a blind tag. Brutus lands a Brutus ball to everyone outside the ring. Bate blasts Akam with a rebound lariat. Airplane Spin by Bate. Bate and Dunne hits the Buhrmingham mer on Bálor. Dunne tries to powerbomb Bálor on the commentary desk. Carlito appears out of nowhere and attacks Dunne. Carlito Backstabbers Dunne on the commentary desk. Bálor lands his double stomp on Dunne for the win.

King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match: Jey Uso vs. Ilja Dragunov

Jey and Dragunov trade strikes. Jey tries an enziguri, but Dragunov ducks. Spinning chop by Dragunov. Dragunov goes up top. Jey drops Dragunov with a dropkick. Dragunov falls to the floor. Jey lands a dive. Dragunov fights off of Jey’s shoulders and lands a leaping knee strike. Dragunov clears the announce desk. Jey moves out of the way as Dragunov tries an H-Bomb off the barricade.

Jey Spears Dragunov over the commentary desk. After the break, Dragunov and Jey trade shots. Dragunov gets a near fall after the Constantine Special. Dragunov lights Jey up with chops in the corner. Before Jey can recover, Dragunov face washes Jey. Jey blocks Dragunov’s second Constantine Special with a superkick to Dragunov’s arm.

Jey lands a flurry of superkick for a near fall. Dragunov blocks a Spear with a knee to the face. Running knee strike by Dragunov. Powerbomb by Dragunov. Dragunov calls for the H-Bomb. Jey kicks out. Jey couters the Torpedo Moskau with a Spear. Jey hits the Uso Splash for the win.

Winner- Jey Uso

After the match, Gunther walks to the ring, laughs at Dragunov, then has a staredown with Jey Uso.
