What’s in the envelope?
On the April 30 episode of WWE NXT, Lash Legend revealed that she had a mysterious envelope that had something to do with NXT Champion Trick Williams. The following week, Williams appeared on Supernova Sessions, which was hosted by Legend and her Meta-Four stablemates. Legend and Williams went back and forth, with Williams saying that Legend called him Trick Willy Wonka.
Eventually, Legend revealed that her envelope contained a picture that showed Noam Dar’s foot was under the ropes when Williams previously beat him.
Meta-Four then claimed that the tainted win meant that Williams’ entire title reign was built on a lie. Williams cut to the chase and seemingly agreed to give Dar a title shot, but Dar dropped him with a cheap shot. Dar then stood tall with the title.
The broadcast team noted that Williams left on his own power, but he went to the hospital for further testing.
