Kamille is All Elite, according to a new report.
Former NWA star Kamille entered free agency on January 1. WWE was reportedly interested in her, and the company offered her a deal, per Mike Johnson of PWInsider. In February, she said that she has had interest from WWE, AEW, and TNA. She also noted that she had talks with WWE’s Shawn Michaels.
In an update, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Kamille is slated to join AEW, and she is under contract. On a media call ahead of AEW Revolution, company CEO Tony Khan spoke highly of Kamille and noted that AEW had scouted her.
Kamille had been with the NWA since 2018. She is a former NWA World Women’s Champion, and she held the title for 812 days. She won it at NWA When Our Shadows Fall and lost it to Kenzie Paige at NWA 75. The powerhouse previously appeared on AEW programming in a one-off on the July 28, 2021, episode of AEW Dynamite.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Kamille will make her debut as a member of the AEW roster. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
