The picks are in.
The 2024 WWE Draft began on the April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown. Ahead of the first pick, Roman Reigns withdrew himself from eligibility. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes subsequently announced the selections in the first round.
SmackDown selected Bianca Belair first overall. Belair is a former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion.
RAW then took Jey Uso with their first pick. Uso has established himself as one of RAW’s top stars, and he is set to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash.
SmackDown then selected NXT’s Carmelo Hayes with their next pick. Hayes is a former NXT Champion and NXT North American Champion.
With the last pick in the opening round, RAW selected Seth Rollins. Rollins has been sidelined since WrestleMania 40, where he lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Damian Priest. He is currently recovering from knee surgery.
