While recently speaking with Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz, Santana opened up about keeping his return a secret.

“[I kept it a secret] maybe a few weeks,” Santana said. “As soon as I made it public that I had left AEW, I mean, that phone rang. I was in talks with everyone. my options were pretty much open, BUT I knew that TNA was definitely a priority of mine and top of the list. The conversations went good and, and we got things together within a couple of weeks.”

Following Santana’s resurgence at Rebellion, TNA Wrestling announced that he had officially inked a contract with them for an undisclosed amount of time. Santana previously worked for TNA, under its former name of IMPACT Wrestling, from 2017 until 2019, when he then moved over to All Elite Wrestling.
