Drew McIntyre took a shot at CM Punk on the April 22 episode of WWE RAW.
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came to the ring on Monday, and fans chanted, “CM Punk” at him. McIntyre mocked Punk by sitting cross-legged. He wondered why fans chanted Punk’s name every time he came to the ring. McIntyre said that the amount of evidence that fans had over the years showed that Punk hates them, but he hates himself more.
McIntyre then took to Twitter and shared the promo. He highlighted his line about how Punk hated the fans and himself. The promo can be seen in McIntyre’s tweet below.
During the promo, Sheamus interrupted Drew McIntyre and told him that he blew his WrestleMania moment over a meme and a T-shirt. McIntyre made fun of Sheamus’ weight, and Sheamus went on to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura.
Drew McIntyre and Punk have been feuding for months. “The Scottish Warrior” repeatedly mocked Punk for getting hurt in the Royal Rumble match. Punk then cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. He also cost McIntyre the chance to earn a title shot the next night on RAW.
CM Punk is advertised to appear live on both nights of the WWE Draft, starting on the April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.
