The Undertaker told a pretty wild story from WrestleMania 40 weekend on the latest episode of his podcast.
This week on Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, the WWE Hall of Famer spoke about speaking to the son of one of the members of his security detail during WrestleMania 40 weekend, and let’s just say it was an interesting back-and-forth.
“He calls and gets his wife on the phone. He goes, ‘Put Bjorn on the phone.’ And I’m thinking to myself, Bjorn? And then he must have been reading my mind or something. He goes, ‘He’s named after a Viking.’ And I was like, ‘Yes, he is. He’s truly named after a Viking.’ So he finally gets his son on the phone, and I was like ‘Bjorn! This is The Undertaker.’ He was like, ‘Hey, Undertaker, how are you?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m really good.’
“So I’m making small talk with this kid, right? And I was trying to make small talk with a seven-year-old that I’ve never met, right? But anyway, I said, so I’ll start messing with him like I do everybody, right? I was like, ‘Bjorn, it sounds like to me you’re getting into some kind of trouble at home, ain’tcha?’ He goes, ‘No, I’m not getting in any trouble!’ I was like, ‘Ehh, I’m petty sure it sounds like you’re up to something. I don’t know what it is. But I can tell you you’re doing something you shouldn’t be doing.’
This is where the back-and-forth takes one heck of a turn…
“He goes, ‘I’m not doing anything I’m not supposed to be doing. You’re doing something you’re not supposed to be doing!’ I was like, no. Then this kid, this seven-year-old kid, goes, ‘Hey, I’ll shoot you right in the face!’ I about lost it, right? I was like, what? You’re gonna shoot me? And now his dad is mortified. He’s just like, oh my god. I put him on the phone, and now he’s threatened The Undertaker.
“So anyway, I was like, ‘You’re not going to shoot me in the face. I’m gonna shoot you in the face!’ So now I’m having an argument with a seven-year-old about shooting him in the face. Which I probably shouldn’t be talking about this, but it was all in good fun. You had to be there. So anyway, we’re going back and forth right now.
“And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he goes, ‘Well, you’re a Democrat!’ I’m a Democrat? What? Like, where did that come from? What does that mean to you? Oh my gosh. His dad, who’s standing right next to me, is just like, he’s got his head in his hands, and he was like, ‘I’m so sorry.'”
