All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded show with the April 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Among other matches, AEW World Champion Samoa Joe faced Dustin Rhodes. Plus, the Young Bucks presented the footage from AEW All In, and Adam Copeland defended the TNT Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo.

AEW Dynamite Results
AEW World Champion Samoa Joe makes his way to the ring for his scheduled match against Dustin Rhodes. They brawl, and Strickland tackles Joe through a table. Officials check on Joe.
A video package recaps Trent Beretta turning on Orange Cassidy. Renee Paquette says that Cassidy will have a match on AEW Rampage, and he will address the situation.
Adam Copeland Defends The Gold
TNT Championship: Adam Copeland vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes)
Copeland and Penta square off. Penta takes Copeland down and hits a diving stomp. He clotheslines Copeland over the ropes. They get back in the ring, and Penta chops Copeland. Penta maintains the advantage as the match heads to the outside. Copeland rallies and gains the upper hand. Back in the ring, Copeland grounds Penta. Copeland takes Penta down with a headscissors takedown.
Copeland and Penta go back and forth. Both men are down after a double kick. Penta and Copeland trade blows. Penta gains the upper hand and dives onto Copeland at ringside. Copeland narrowly avoids getting counted out. Penta grounds Copeland and drills him with a kick. He gets a two-count with a backbreaker. Copeland plants Penta with a facebuster.
Copeland traps Penta in a submission hold, but Penta escapes. Penta kicks Copeland in the corner. Copeland locks in a Crossface, but Penta reaches the ropes. Copeland dumps Penta with a powerslam on the apron. Penta dodges a Spear attempt, and Copeland takes out Abrahantes.
Penta hits a Code Red. He snaps Copeland’s arm. Copeland hits a Spear in mid-air for the win.
Winner and still TNT Champion: Adam Copeland
The lights go out. They come back on, and Brody King attacks Copeland from behind while Julia Hart distracts him. King locks in a choke. Willow Nightingale runs in and brawls with Hart. Copeland fights off King, and Nightingale checks on him.
Backstage, Chris Jericho, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata look ahead to their match. Jericho says he appreciates how HOOK brought Shibata in. He says both of them will sit under his learning tree. Jericho talks strategy for the match and says they will be successful if they listen to him. Using a translation app on his phone, Shibata asks HOOK what Jericho’s deal is and says he likes Renee Paquette’s necklace.
The Young Bucks Reveal AEW All In Footage
A video package recaps FTR’s feud with the Young Bucks.
Backstage, ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe and Eddie Kingston comment on their match at ROH Supercard of Honor. Adam Copeland walks in and asks them if they’re good for AEW Dynamite. Willow Nightingale and Copeland agree to team up next week.
The Young Bucks are backstage, and they prepare to reveal the footage from AEW All In. They say they have a big pay-per-view coming in. Nicholas looks back on their last match with FTR at AEW All In and references old wounds. Matthew says there was an incident involving two individuals, including “the Scapegoat”, Jack Perry, in this situation. He says Perry reminds them of themselves. They reference the other individual, who is friends with FTR. Nicholas wonders if FTR were the masterminds of the entire situation.
Matthew Jackson says the backstage incident threw them off their rhythm before their match with FTR. He says there should be an asterisk next to FTR’s win at AEW All In. Matthew says the incident itself is like a high-school scrap. He says the ramifications threatened to take down AEW’s biggest show of all time, but it didn’t. They show the footage, which shows CM Punk confronting Jack Perry. There’s no audio, but they are clearly talking. Punk pushes Perry and is clearly the aggressor. Samoa Joe and others break it up, and Punk walks away.
Back to the present, Matthew says the worst part is creating a wrestling show and filling a show with a historic crowd but getting distracted by something so stupid and losing. Nicholas says they won’t be shaking FTR’s hands at AEW Dynasty.
FTR comes to the ring and questions why they’re talking about this, and he’s tired of hearing about it. Cash Wheeler says they’re doing some of their best shows ever, but they’re showing clips from eight months ago. Wheeler says they have to beat the Young Bucks because he’s sick of “you petty little bitches.” Harwood admits that AEW would not exist without the Young Bucks. He says that their win over the Bucks makes the duo sick, as FTR has eclipsed them as the best tag team on the planet. Harwood says the Young Bucks lost their way, and now they only care about being EVPs. He highlights the fans’ passion and says they do it for them.
Harwood says this is about AEW, and this is about the AEW World Tag Team Championship. He says that one team will walk out of AEW Dynasty as the first three-time champions. Harwood says the Young Bucks may have built the foundation, but FTR will put the roof on the place.
Will Ospreay Speaks His Mind
Will Ospreay comes to the stage and responds to Bryan Danielson’s comments. He references the rumors that he’s “afraid of the grind” and highlights his hard work, his passion, and his delivery. Ospreay takes a shot at Triple H and says the latter was “grinding” on the boss’ daughter and continues to respond. He looks forward to his match against Bryan Danielson and says he will not be able to call himself the best until he beats Danielson. Ospreay says AEW is where the best wrestle, and he is the ace. He says he is on another level.
In a video package, TBS Champion Julia Hart looks forward to her match with Willow Nightingale and says she will turn her smile into a frown. She says her destiny is to keep the title, and the house always wins.
Chris Jericho, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty & Anthony Ogogo)
Chris Jericho and Moriarty start the bout and feel each other out. Jericho gains the upper hand. Shibata tags himself in and drills Moriarty with some stiff shots. Shane Taylor tags in and squares off with Shibata. HOOK tags in and hits Taylor with a series of shots. Taylor levels HOOK with a clothesline and overpowers him. Ogogo tags in and continues to ground HOOK. Taylor tags in and slams HOOK.
HOOK rallies and dumps HOOK with a suplex. Shibata makes the hot tag and clears house with a flurry of offense. Moriarty dodges Shibata, so he accidentally rocks Jericho with a big boot. HOOK and Jericho argue at ringside. Moriarty slams Shibata and pins him.
Winners: Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty & Anthony Ogogo)
HOOK and Jericho continue to argue. HOOK tells Jericho to leave as tensions continue to rise.
Backstage, Renee Paquette says Samoa Joe is cleared, so his match against Dustin Rhodes is still on. Rhodes delivers a fiery message about grit and work ethic as he hypes up the match.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Cristiano Argento
Okada takes control right away and overpowers Argento. Okada takes him down with a dropkick and hits the Rainmaker.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
After the match, Kazuchika Okada calls out PAC and accepts his challenge to a match at AEW Dynasty. PAC comes out to confront Okada, but the Young Bucks attack him. FTR makes the save, and they brawl with the Young Bucks. Okada brings in a chair and hits Harwood with it. The Bucks superkick FTR and hit the EVP trigger. Okada drills PAC with a chairshot to the head.
Backstage, the Bang Bang Gang (Jay White and the Gunns) recap their recent run. White says he feels like beating Billy Gunn up again, but Gunn wouldn’t survive it, so he wants to face someone else.
Thunder Rosa comes to the stage for a toast with AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Storm throws champagne in Rosa’s face and attacks her. She wipes some of Rosa’s facepaint off and mocks her. Deonna Purrazzo runs in for the save.
Anna Jay vs. Mariah May
Jay and May go back and forth. They trade shots. May gains the upper hand and hits a handstand headscissors takedown. The match spills out of the ring, and May brings it back inside. She grounds Jay. Jay rallies with a flurry of strikes. Jay slams May for a two-count. Mariah rolls up Jay for the win.
Winner: Mariah May
Jay attacks May after the bell. STARDOM’s Mina Shirakawa runs in for the save. Shirakawa gets some champagne and gives Mariah some. She kisses May, who picks her up, and they celebrate.
Mercedes Moné is interviewed, and she comments on her interest in challenging for the TBS Championship at AEW Double or Nothing, She shares her thoughts on the match between Julia Hart and Willow Nightingale. Mercedes gets emotional as she reflects on her injury in her match against Nightingale but says she has a plan. The lights go out, and someone attacks Moné. They come back on, and Moné is down, clearly in pain.
Dustin Rhodes Hopes To Earn Title Shot
AEW World Championship Eliminator: Samoa Joe vs. Dustin Rhodes
Rhodes takes the fight to Samoa Joe. Joe overpowers him and slams him into the barricade. Joe sends Rhodes into the ring post and controls the action. The champion busts Rhodes open and keeps hitting his wound. Joe grounds Rhodes and keeps dominating. Rhodes rallies with a powerslam. They trade blows. Rhodes catches Joe with some strikes and a Bionic Elbow. Dustin gets a two-count with a low blow.
Rhodes keeps fighting and slams Joe into the ring post. Dustin gets the world title belt but opts against using it. Dustin hits the Crossrhodes for a two-count. The referee turns his back, and Samoa Joe hits Dustin with the title for the win.
Winner: Samoa Joe
Joe attacks Rhodes after the bell. Swerve Strickland runs in and kicks Joe. Swerve grabs a chain and punches Joe. Joe escapes when Swerve goes to hit him with the chain.
Officials separate them, and Swerve stands tall and holds the title as the show ends.
