It is safe to say that Michael Buffer is one of the greatest ring announcers of all time. He recently gave WWE’s Samantha Irvin her flowers for her performance at WrestleMania 40.
One of the changes in production that caught the eye of fans at this year’s WrestleMania was the special ring center 8K camera that focused on Irvin as she was announcing the wrestlers, which would pan to the challenger and followed by the Champion.
The main event of night two of WrestleMania 40 was the WWE Undisputed Universal Title Match between the champion Roman Reigns and the challenger Cody Rhodes. After putting up a tough fight, and with wrestling legends such as John Cena and The Undertaker showing up to help The American Nightmare even the odds, Rhode managed to pick up the win. He finally finished his story. Samantha Irvin got extremely emotional when announcing that Cody Rhodes had won the match.
This caught the eye of Michael Buffer too. He took to Twitter to appreciate Irvin for her work. Buffer also mentioned that the way she announced the wrestlers, her energy, and the way she showed her emotions were fantastic and perfect.
“Ring announcer Samantha Irvin ruled @WrestleMania last night & her emotional final announcement was awesome! She was featured on camera-ring center-that was a smart production move & she was just brilliant! Her timing, pace, drama, energy was perfect! @SamanthaTheBomb @WWE,” Michael Buffer tweeted.
In the past, the Fianceé of Ricochet has received a lot of praise from fans for her unique way of announcing Chelsea Green. The Great One, The Rock also had appreciated Samantha Irvin following her reaction to his return on the Day One episode of Raw.
