R-Truth’s dream came true on the RAW after WrestleMania.
On the April 8 episode of WWE RAW, RAW Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth confronted The Judgment Day. The showdown led to a six-man tag team match after Truth noted that he and Miz could team up with “the guy you can’t see.” At first, no one showed up, so he and Miz faced the Judgment Day in a three-on-two handicap match. However, late in the match, John Cena ran to the ring and tagged in. He took control with a flurry of offense. Cena, Truth, and Miz hit stereo Attitude Adjustments to clinch the win.
Cena appeared at WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two and interfered in the main event. Earlier in the day on April 8, John Cena said that he would be busy with filming commitments through Christmastime, but he hoped to return to WWE for one final run after that.
