Mick Foley Says He’s Calling Off His Final Match

Mick Foley‘s final match is off.

Mick Foley previously stated that he was thinking about returning to the ring for one final match for his sixtieth birthday. He has not competed in a match since the 2012 Royal Rumble.

In a post on Instagram on April 8, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced that he was calling off his final match. He noted that he had concussion-like symptoms, so he decided to call off the match after he consulted with two doctors.

The post is as follows:

“CALLING OFF MY FINAL MATCH

With my symptoms of dizziness and lightheadedness – and consultations with two different doctors – pointing to a concussion, I have decided to call off my quest to have a final match on my 60th birthday. I am really grateful to all of the great stars who expressed great interest in being in that final match (some of the biggest in the business) and to all of you who wished me the best.

Have a nice day.”

Foley also discussed the decision in a YouTube video, which can be seen here:

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
