Rhea Ripley On WrestleMania Win: I’m Feeling Alive, This Is My Division

Rhea Ripley is felling great after WrestleMania 40.

The Australian defeated Becky Lynch in the opening match of WrestleMania 40, retaining her Women’s World Championship. She was played to the ring by Motionless in White, and brought a new with her.

After her victory, Rhea Ripley spoke to Cathy Kelley about how she was feeling. Ripley revealed that she felt alive, before praising Becky Lynch for putting up a great fight.

“I’m feeling alive, I’m feeling like I’m on top of the division. I’ve not only shown that to everyone else, even though I’ve already been on top for so bloody long. Because Mami’s always on top. Now everyone has just been reminded why I’m the dominant one. I’m Mami and this is my division.”

“And yeah, Becky, she put up a fantastic fight like she always does. I knew that I was in her head and I was under her skin. And I was gonna get the man that I wanted. I wasn’t gonna get the mother, I wasn’t gonna get the wife. I wanted Becky freaking Lynch, I wanted the man and that’s exactly what I got. And you know what? I went in there and I beat the man. You know why? Because I’ve said it before on Raw, but behind every great man is a greater woman, and I just proved my point.”

Rhea Ripley Says Motionless In White Entrance Was ‘Dream Come True’

Rhea Ripley continued. She revealed that having Motionless In White player her to the ring was a dream come true, and that they’re her favorite band.

“That was a dream come true, I know we talk about WrestleMania and how everyone works so hard to compete on this grand stage. And also it being WrestleMania XL, the biggest WrestleMania, I’m so glad and so happy and so privileged and just so ecstatic, that I got to share that with Motionless and White. They know how much I love Motionless and why I love Chris and how we have been compared to each other for a very long time.”

“We look like twins, and I absolutely love it, and it’s mostly because I’ve been watching his music videos since I was in high school, so I’ve gradually just morphed into him without even meaning to as well, I just cut my hair I was crap, we look the same. So to be able to actually have them here and bring music and wrestling together and have that special moment with my absolute top-notch favourite band. It’s something that I’m never gonna forget, and I don’t think I’m ever gonna live it down.”
