The Rock says he had enjoyed every second and he had a great time at WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One.
The Rock wrestled in his first proper match since 2013 at WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One. There, he and Roman Reigns beat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event.
At the WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One Press Conference, The Rock was asked to describe how he was feeling after the match.
“I feel great. Body feels great. I just had the time of my life,” The Rock said. “I put in a lot of work. We had a hell of a training camp, probably about ten to 12 weeks. I wanted to make sure I was as prepared as I possibly could be. These guys who I wrestled with tonight, as you guys know, they’re the best in the world. I wanted to make sure that I came in ring-ready as best I can. As you guys know, it’s impossible to simulate what happens in the ring.
“You can run your training camps. I had a ring set up in Hawaii. A ring in California as well. There was a ring in Georgia, to make sure that around every corner and everywhere that I went the first quarter of this year, there was a ring. I flew in a lot of wrestlers that really amazing and willing to work their asses off to make sure I was prepared. I enjoyed every second of that.
The Rock: There Is Nothing Like Performing At WrestleMania
The Rock went on to say that he participated in a lot of cool things over the years, but nothing compared to performing at WrestleMania.
“I’ve been a lucky guy over the years to have been participated in some pretty cool things that have been pretty gratifying,” The Rock said. “There is nothing like performing at WrestleMania in front of thousands and thousands of prior. There is nothing like performing with your fellow pro wrestlers.”
