Kevin Owens speaks frankly about his relationship, or lack thereof, with CM Punk.
CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE at WWE Survivor Series 2024. Punk is a polarizing figure in the wrestling world; while many in WWE were happy to see him return, others were less thrilled.
Speaking with Gorilla Position ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40, Kevin Owens was asked to comment on his relationship with CM Punk.
“Well, we have no relationship,” Kevin Owens said. “No. We’re not each other’s type of people, I don’t think. There’s like a ten-foot vicinity, I’d say, that if we enter in, then we have to kind of, ‘Hey, hi.’ Otherwise, we don’t, and that’s fine. It’s perfectly fine the way it is.
It was noted that many people have said that Punk has changed, and Owens was asked whether that could warm things up.
“I don’t know that, and I don’t care, to be honest,” Owens said. “He is who he is, I am who I am, and it’s fine that way.
Owens previously commented on Punk’s return by saying that he just wanted to have fun at work.
