WWE SmackDown Scores Highest Demo Audience Since 2020

WWE SmackDown‘s viewership increased with the go-home show for WrestleMania 40 on April 5.

Per a source, SmackDown averaged 2.603 million viewers on Friday. This number is up from last week (2.201 million viewers) and marks the show’s highest since December 2022.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.8 rating (1.015 million viewers), which is up from last week (0.60). This marks SmackDown’s highest demo rating since December 2020.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Kevin Owens hosting the KO Show with his guest, Randy Orton. Logan Paul interrupted on the Tron from the WrestleMania XL Stadium across the street.

Bronson Reed won this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Dragon Lee was attacked backstage and is out of WrestleMania XL. Andrade is now Rey Mysterio’s new partner for Saturday.

The main event of the show saw Jey Uso defeat Solo Sikoa when Jimmy Uso interfered. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins hit the ring to assist Jey Uso to close the show.
