Cody Rhodes says the matches at WWE WrestleMania 40 will have more effect on the future of the business than any other in quite some time.
Cody Rhodes will headline both nights of WWE WrestleMania 40. On the opening night, he and Seth Rollins will face The Rock and Roman Reigns. On night two, Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Speaking with Chris Vannini of The Athletic, Cody Rhodes looked ahead to WrestleMania 40 and emphasized the importance of the matches.
“These matches on Saturday and Sunday will have more effect on the future of the business than any match in quite some time,” he said. “I would hope my legacy as a father and husband is up there with my own dad’s. And if Roman Reigns is going to be the most famous wrestler of our generation, I would like to be the guy who did the most for our generation.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of WrestleMania 40 as it airs on April 6 and 7.
