Andrade has officially joined up with Rey Mysterio.
During tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Andrade shocked fans by aligning himself with Rey Mysterio, turning on Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar following a match between Zelina Vega and Elektra Lopez.
After Lopez beat Vega, Mysterio attempted to get her out of the ring, and was promptly targeted by the group. As Escobar and Mysterio got to work attacking Rey, though, Andrade shocked everyone by flipping his allegiance, and tossing everyone out of the ring.
The moment came just a few minutes after Dragon Lee was found mysteriously attacked backstage. Carlito could be seen calling for help, although it was unclear what happened to him.
As a result of the attack, WWE announced that Andrade would be stepping in for Lee and pairing up with Mysterio against Escobar and Dominik at WrestleMania 40.
