Toni Storm had some interesting words to say about the Forbidden Door.
The AEW Women’s Champion made a shock appearance at STARDOM American Dream event in Philadelphia. It took place in the 2300 Arena, which is more commonly known as the ECW Arena.
After a speech about her history in Stardom, Storm confronted the Artist of Stardom Champion Mina Shirakawa.
After the event, she was interviewed by Emily Mae Heller in a Twitter video. Toni Storm described how proud she was of Mariah May, and warned that the Forbidden Door would always be open. This is a possible hint that Stardom will be a part of the NJPW/AEW cross-promotion pay per view later this year.
“Darling, I cannot describe it. Words cannot describe how important this place is to me. This was the real making of who I am today. So, I came out tonight and I felt emotional. But most of all, because Mariah [May] is making me so gosh-darn proud, am I right? She’s really coming into her own. She’s really doing just fantastic. Mariah, I meant every word that I said out there. I love you, I am proud of you. You couldn’t make me happier. This business will be hers. She’s the one to watch. And remember – the Forbidden Door is always open.”
Toni Storm Talks About The Outcasts Going ‘Tits Up’
Toni Storm recently spoke to Talk Is Jericho about her time in The Outcasts. She noted that the group went “tits up”, but claimed that it was simply because she wouldn’t allow herself to be upstaged.
“Tits up. It went tits up. It did, it went completely tits up. Because I will not be upstaged. You will not outshine me. People don’t just simply beat me. Nor do they take my titles, that doesn’t just happen. So if that’s going to happen, then I’m not going to be too thrilled about it. It’s going to send me into something.
“Then I was speaking to a dear friend, I think his name was RJ City, and he just won’t stop harassing me, asking me all these different questions. He sent me mad with his line of questioning. Then I was like, ‘Fine. Fine, I admit it. I’m timeless.’ There, are you happy? I’m Timeless. There. Are you happy? I’m timeless. Now, you all know.”
