Ronda Rousey Would Not Return To WWE ‘Unless Things Drastically Change’

Ronda Rousey reiterates that she will not return to WWE unless things change.

Ronda Rousey was one of WWE’s top stars at one point, and she held the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship during her time in the company. She left WWE after SummerSlam 2023, and she has since spoken critically of the company, Vince McMahon, and her overall experience.

During a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Ronda Rousey was asked to explain why she left WWE. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“It’s just not a lifestyle I can continue while being a mom,” Ronda Rousey said. I was on the road 18 months with my baby and that was nothing we could sustain forever.”

Rousey was also asked if she would potentially return to the company. She reiterated her past comments that she would not return unless things changed.

“Not unless things drastically change with how things are run there,” Rousey said. “I highly doubt it.”

Rousey recently said that she wished her last WWE run was under Triple H rather than Vince McMahon. Check out her comments here.
