Anthony Henry has been released by All Elite Wrestling.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported the news. Henry’s release came in a wave of cuts on April 1. Additional details are unclear at this time.
Henry made his AEW debut at an AEW Dark taping in September 2021, and he has regularly wrestled for the company ever since. He has frequently teamed up with JD Drake as The Workhorsemen on AEW and ROH programming. They have also remained active on the independent scene.
Earlier in March, Henry revealed that he was sidelined with a broken jaw. He subsequently said that he would not need surgery, but he would be out for several weeks.
