In a surprise twist during tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, Matt Cardona appeared to answer Adam Copeland’s open invitation for a TNT Championship match.
Tonight, Copeland brought back his open challenge system for the TNT Championship, and none other than Cardona was the first to answer.
Making his AEW Collision debut, Cardona came down to the ring with the crowd shocked and excited. In the match, however, things went Copeland’s way, as he was able to eventually beat Cardona with a big Spear to win and retain his title.
