Sami Zayn: Bo Dallas Is Really Talented, He Never Really Got His Chance To Fly

Recently, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn opened up about which wrestler is the most underrated. He named Bo Dallas as the most underrated wrestler.

While speaking to Josh Martinez for his YouTube channel, Zayn mentioned that Dallas is a very talented wrestler and he hopes for the former NXT Champion to get an opportunity to showcase his wrestling skills.

“Ooh! Tough to say. I’ve been giving this answer for years and it’s kind of hard to say now because he’s not really been on television. But I do believe he’s still kind of under contract. But I’ve always thought Bo Dallas was really, really, really, really good and never really got his chance to really spread his wings and fly. And I know that might not be the answer that most people would think of off the top of their head.

“I was in NXT with this guy years and years ago. And I did Promo Classes, I traveled the road with him. He’s really really great in the ring. There’s no question. But even as a performer and as a mind from the character side of things, I think he’s… There’s so much more that people have ever gotten to really see out of him. And hopefully, his day comes. I think he’s really really talented.”

Sami Zayn believes people misconstrue the term ‘Underrated’

While speaking in the same interview, Zayn mentioned that people don’t understand the true meaning of the word ‘underrated.’

“A lot of people that I… People that I think misconstrue what that word kinda means, ‘underrated.’ Because a lot of people on a long enough timeline with WWE will get opportunities. You know they will. And on a long enough timeline, in a weird way you’ll kind of find your position of where you kind of fit. What I’m saying is, I tend to see every now and again, I’ll see fan reactions saying this guy’s so overrated or underrated or whatever. But in reality, I think those people have been given opportunities.

“Now, it’s a different story if there’s someone really good, that’s never gotten the opportunity. But if you are getting television time to show parts of your character and you are getting television time to tell your story in the ring, and show what you can do on both sides of that front… All I’m saying is, on a long enough timeline people tend to find where they fit best,” Sami Zayn said.
