Becky Lynch Wants To Open Night WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One

Rather than main-eventing WWE WrestleMania 40, Becky Lynch wants to open the show.

Becky Lynch is set to challenge WRhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. Heading into the show, fans are already buzzing about the potential match order.

Speaking with Andrew Korpan of ClutchPoints, Becky Lynch was asked to share her thoughts on the card order. She stated that she would love to open the show.

“Nah, man, I’m not worried about card order,” Becky Lynch said. “I would love to open the show. I would love that. I’ve never opened WrestleMania before.

“And to open this one, as big as it is in Philadelphia, I’m just putting that out there,” she manifested with a laugh. “It would be pretty cool because if it’s not the main event, I always want to be the opening spot — it’s always a great place on the card because people are so excited.”

Becky Lynch then specified that she would like to kick off WrestleMania as a whole by having the first match of the two-night event.

“Ooh, night one. I would love to open the whole of WrestleMania, you know what I’m saying? Just [to] be that first match for that whole event,” Lynch said. “[Opening the show will] give me enough time that I can relax and really enjoy [Seth Rollins] main eventing WrestleMania and getting to watch him do that because that will be so special.”

Lynch previously said that she should main-event WrestleMania 40.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE RAW as it airs on Monday, March 25.
