OH MY! Roman Reigns had some fun at Michael Cole’s expense.
Reigns made a surprise appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday, where McAfee asked him about where John Cena ranked all time. McAfee said that Reigns also had a claim to the ‘GOAT’ title, and prefaced his question with the following:
“When he came back to face John Cena, Michael Cole was bopping his meat every night to John Cena. [McAfee impersonates Cole] ‘Oh! The GOAT is back! The GOAT is back! The Greatest Of All Time! I used to have beers with John Cena!’ That whole thing, Michael Cole.”
Reigns then offered the following response in jest:
“Big dick rider, that Michael Cole. You know what I’m saying?” Reigns quipped as he laughed.

McAfee then asked Reigns when he realized he was in the GOAT conversation for his accolades.
“I’ve always known it. I’ve always been striving for it, I’ve had this obsession with it. I was born in ’85, so when you’re growing up through the ‘90s and you have Michael Jordan, this mentality. It was just different times back in the day. I’m not trying to get old school on everybody, but it was tougher. It was a tougher mentality, something that conditioned me to change and just want to be on a different level than everybody.”
Reigns said he can’t take away anything from anyone, and Cena’s work is GOAT-level. However, he feels it’s about quality over quantity. He said Cena has plenty of title reigns, but he doesn’t have one that compares to Reigns’ over the last four years.
