Drew McIntyre remains a menace on social media.
CM Punk sparked some buzz earlier this week, as he posted clips of himself working out on social media. Punk is sidelined with a torn triceps, and while he will be unable to compete at WrestleMania 40, his road to recovery.
In a tweet, Drew McIntyre responded to Punk’s posts. He trolled Punk by playing “Cry Me A River” and poked fun at him for lighting baby weights.
“Well, well, well. Seems like a lot of people are awfully excited that Punk is back in the gym and using some baby weights,” Drew McIntyre said. “I know I am. [Starts playing ‘Cry Me A River’] Let’s test those triceps. [Starts working out] I’m sure he lifted more weights before the injury. I’ll see you in Chicago, Phil.”
As Drew McIntyre noted, Punk is set to appear on the March 25 episode of WWE RAW.
McIntyre and Punk clashed ahead of WWE Royal Rumble, and they had a heated promo exchange. Punk suffered a torn triceps in the Royal Rumble match, and he has been trolling Punk mercilessly ever since.
