Scott Steiner has high praise for his nephew, Bron Breakker.
WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner recently sat down with Jamal Niaz of For The Love of Wrestling. When asked if he believed Bron Breakker could become a star at the level of Roman Reigns in WWE, Steiner said there’s no doubt in his mind that’s the case.
“Oh, there’s no doubt he could reach that level; it just takes time,” Scott Steiner said. “I think he’s ready. He just needs some more seasoning wrestling against good guys. When you wrestle against good guys, you get better. So I think he’s ready. He just needs to make the right moves here and there, and you never know what can happen.”
Steiner would go on to recall a very young Bron Breakker coming to his house on his bike to recite his own promos at him that he would cut on WCW Nitro.
“But one thing as a professional wrestler you got to be good at is the interview,” Scott Steiner continued. “When he was just a little boy, like six, seven years old, he used to ride his bike over to my house. He had watched Monday Night Nitro.
“And he’d come over and do the interview on me. My exact same talking shit to me, and I’d say, ‘Come up with your own shit, now get on your bike and ride back home.’ So it was in his blood from a very young age, so that’s probably why he’s so good at it right now.”
Bron Breakker owes Scott Steiner a check for stealing all his shit
Big Poppa Pump praised his nephew’s athletic ability and joked that he’s getting by because he’s stealing all his stuff.
“He’s able to get by in his own athletic ability, and then, of course, he’s stealing all my shit,” Scott Steiner joked. “I call him out all the time. As a matter of fact, he owes me a check. [laughs]”
