One of AEW’s most recent signings was Mariah May. May carried her momentum from STARDOM to the Jacksonville-based promotion. Recently, she got to return to her home country to visit family. The AEW star thanked Tony Khan and the promotion for allowing her to return to the UK to reunite with her friends and family.

“I have the best job in the world, but chasing your dreams doesn’t come without a cost. I have missed countless family moments, births, holidays, illnesses, death and so much more. I don’t get to be there for the people I love and it feels like I’m always saying goodbye. I’m growing up on my own all the time and it’s tough figuring it out by myself in places that are foreign to me.
Mariah May cannot thank AEW enough
“So any moment I get to spend with the people I love and grew up with is so special. I can’t thank AEW enough for getting me back to the U.K. to see my family and friends this past week. It meant the world to me to be able to see old friends, spend time with my niece and nephew (who are growing up way too fast), see my family doing well, cuddle my doggos and drink tea with my mummy.
