Matt Hardy was simply visiting at WWE RAW on March 18.
Fans started buzzing when Reby Hardy, Matt’s wife, shared a TikTok that showed the two of them were in attendance at RAW on Monday. Their presence sparked some speculation, especially with Matt’s AEW contract set to expire this month.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Matt was just visiting at the show. RAW was held in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is not far from where they live. Sapp debunks the speculation that Hardy met with WWE at the show. He writes that Hardy is still under contract with AEW, and the two sides have had talks.
Per Sapp, a friend of Reby Hardy invited her and Matt to sit in their suite at the arena for RAW on Monday. They were said to have been there for about 90 minutes.
Matt Hardy himself has confirmed that his negotiations with AEW are ongoing.
