Matt Hardy made a special visit to WWE Raw this week.
As the feud between Jimmy and Jey Uso intensifies, and WrestleMania 40 inches closer, WWE Raw commentator Michael Cole recently mentioned another pair of brothers who battled on WWE’s grandest stage — The Hardy Boyz. This reference, of course, was made during this week’s episode of WWE Raw, which, ironically, emanated an hour away from the residence of Matt Hardy.
As revealed on Instagram, both Matt and his wife Reby were in attendance for Monday night’s episode Raw in Raleigh. And according to Reby, both she and Matt became aware of The Hardy Boyz reference.
“THIS AINT OVER MICHAEL COLE,” Reby wrote on Instagram.
Given his previous history in WWE, many fans quickly identified Hardy sitting in one of the PNC Arena skyboxes. As such, Matt then hosted an impromptu meet-and-greet of sorts, providing handshakes and photographs for every fan that approached him.
As previously confirmed by Matt Hardy himself, his AEW contract is set to expire at the end of March. As of now, it remains unclear if both sides will agree on a renewal.
Matt first arrived in AEW in March 2020. His brother, Jeff Hardy, followed suit in March 2022 after exiting WWE a few months before.
