Mick Foley Provides Update On Potentially Having One Last Match

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley provides an update on potentially returning to the ring for one last match.

Mick Foley has not wrestled since the 2012 Royal Rumble. In February, he said that he wanted to lose 100 pounds and have one last Death Match for his 60th birthday. He subsequently discussed his reasoning behind wanting to wrestle one more time.

During a virtual signing with Highspots Sign It Live, Foley was asked about the match and whether he was serious about competing again. He noted that losing the weight has been difficult so far. Foley noted that he would have an answer by the beginning of 2025. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“Yeah, but I’d have to lose an extraordinary amount of weight, and it’s not falling off like I hoped it would,” Mick Foley said. “I’m going to have to re-examine where I am at a certain point. It’s not about the money. I want to have a fun match, but I am having trouble.

“I’ve been working out. I feel better, moving better, but it’s not showing up, as of yet, on the scale. I’m not sure. I’ll have an answer by the beginning of the year.”

In the past, Foley has said that he would like to face either Matt Cardona or Jon Moxley. Click here to see what Cardona had to say about potentially facing Foley.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
