AJ Styles seemingly plans to avoid LA Knight until they clash at WWE WrestleMania 40.
AJ Styles and LA Knight have been feuding in recent weeks, and their rivalry reached the next level when Styles cost Knight the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. On the March 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, Knight challenged Styles to face him at WrestleMania 40. Styles then attacked Knight from behind and accepted the challenge. Knight has vowed to get payback, but Styles has other plans.
In a tweet, AJ Styles stated that he would not be at SmackDown. Instead, he noted that he would see Knight at WrestleMania.
“So let me get this straight, LA Knight,” he said. “The next time you see me, you’re gonna physically harm me? Well, I’m not gonna let that happen, I’m not that stupid. I won’t be at SmackDown, so you can keep looking. But I’ll be at WrestleMania. I’ll see you there.”
