WWE SmackDown Viewership Dips On 3/15, Demo Also Down

WWE SmackDown‘s viewership decreased on March 15.

Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider) reports that SmackDown drew 2,340,000 viewers on Friday. This is down from last week (2.439 million viewers).

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.68 rating. This is also down from last week (0.69 rating).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with The Rock doing a concert in Memphis and ended it by repeating half of the promo he put on social media earlier in the day.

New Catch Republic and Legado del Phantasmo advanced in a mini-tournament to earn the right to enter the multi-team ladder match at WrestleMania 40.

Randy Orton was also in action and picked up a win over Grayson Waller. Following the match it was announced that Orton and Kevin Owens would face Logan Paul in a triple threat match for the United States Championship at WrestleMania.

The main event of the show saw Bayley defeat Dakota Kai by disqualification when the rest of Damage CTRL interfered. Naomi attempted to make the save but was overwhelmed by Damage CTRL as well.
