Damian Priest Takes Credit For Getting Dominik Mysterio Booed At His Wedding

Dominik Mysterio was booed at his own wedding this week, with his teammate Damian Priest revealing he was behind it!

The former NXT North American Champion recently got hitched. He married his long-time girlfriend, Marie Juliette, on March 7. The ceremony was attended by numerous WWE Superstars, including Judgement Day teammates Rhea Ripley and Damian Prest.

Damian Priest revealed in an interview with WrestlingNews.co that he was behind the wedding booing Dominik. He said that he started the booing before the whole wedding party joined in.

“It was beautiful. I was honored to be a part of the wedding and to attend the wedding. We had such a good time, obviously busting his chops.

“There was a moment when they did say that he’s gonna say a few words. Everyone turned to my table, and I was like ‘We gotta do it. We’re doing it, right?”. So I just turned back around and I did it. Everybody at my table followed in, and I was like ‘Okay that was nice’. Then he went to speak again, and the entire wedding party did it, and I really laughed. Then he gave me that look. That was a good one.”

Luckily, Dominik took the incident in stride and saw the humor in it.

Dominik Reveals His Boos Are Not Piped In

While the boos at his wedding were real, it may shock you to know that the boos on TV are too!

Speaking with Konnan and Disco Inferno on K100, the Judgement Day member revealed that his boos are not piped in, and the WWE can use his heat to kill or save time in a show.

“Yeah, they like it when I do [cut promos]. When I can go out and try to cut a promo, especially if they need to cut some time out of something or they need to save some time, I can go out there and play with a mic for two-three minutes if necessary, pretend to cut a promo and feel blessed to get booed. I can’t tell you, every city, I go out to, it’s like it gets louder and louder every time I try to talk. No, it’s not piped.”
