Nic Nemeth Named As New Host Of Busted Open Radio

Nic Nemeth has been busy since being released by WWE.

The former World Heavyweight Champion was let go by the company last year. This ended a 19-year relationship with the sports entertainment giants. However, he quickly moved on to other things. He signed for TNA and NJPW, winning the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship in the latter earlier this year.

Nemeth has added another string to his bow. The former Dolph Ziggler became one of the new hosts at SiriusXM Busted Open Radio.

The station announced that Nemeth would be the newest host on Busted Open Radio. He joins Dave LaGreca, Bully Ray & Tommy Dreamer in taking part in the hit radio broadcast.

However, Nemeth’s schedule has yet to be finalized. Nevertheless, he will appear in the March 15 episode with LaGreca.

The addition of Nic Nemeth to the group at Busted Open will give him the chance to give his view on his career so far.

While speaking with LaGreca, Dreamer and Ray, Nic Nemeth revealed how he wants to give his insight on the wrestling business by joining the show.

“For someone who loves watching wrestling, as you all know, hopefully, my insight of being able to survive for 19 years at 5’11, 195 pounds, having no friends in the office, somehow that can apply to this, but mostly me figuring out which channel wrestling is on would be the best part.”

Nick Nemeth Is Excited To Experience Independent Wrestling

Speaking with Busted Open, Nic Nemeth revealed that he is excited to experience wrestling outside of the WWE.

He has been with the WWE for the majority of his career. Given that fact, Nemeth appearing for independent promotions will be a change of pace, and is something that he is looking forward to experiencing.

“I love it. There is an entire world out there that I’ve never even seen in person or been face-to-face with anyone, and there are a million opponents that I’ve never even been in a locker room with, so I’m excited for the wrestling part, but also the part where I’m learning and following all the television aspect of it and pay-per-views and premium live event, however you guys say them depending on the company. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into it,”
