What’s El Dandy up to nowadays?
Previously, El Dandy competed in Mexico and wrestled for CMLL, among other promotions. He then became part of WCW’s cruiserweight division. While he did not have a decorated run in the company, Bret Hart brought him into the spotlight during a memorable promo in which he tried to sell him as a credible challenger. Hart famously asked who Gene Okerlund was to doubt El Dandy.
Dandy’s wrestling career quietly ended, and there have been few, if any, updates on what he has been up to.
In a tweet, Roy Lucier stated that El Dandy is living in Mexico City, and he is a well-known chiropractor in the area. Lucier noted that Dandy has multiple patients and testimonials on helping them relieve long-term pain in their bodies.
As a wrestler, El Dandy is a former CMLL World Middleweight Champion and AAA National Light Heavyweight Championship, among other accolades.
