Samoa Joe will defend the gold at AEW Dynamite: Big Business.
As announced during the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe will put the title on the line against Wardlow on March 13. Wardlow earned a title shot by winning the All-Star Eight-Man Scramble at AEW Revolution. Wardlow and Joe have clashed in the past, as Wardlow previously beat Joe to win the TNT Championship. They also had a brief run as the WarJoe tag team.
Joe sent a message to Wardlow on Wednesday by choking out Swerve Strickland following their tag team match.
Plus, Willow Nightingale will take on former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho. Riho defeated Nightingale’s tag team partner Kris Statlander on the March 6 episode of Dynamite.
The updated card is as follows:
- AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow
- Riho vs. Willow Nightingale
- Darby Allin vs. Jay White
