All Elite Wrestling has seemingly planted the seeds for a major dream match.
Former NJPW star Will Ospreay signed with AEW in November, but he did not join the company until he wrapped up his NJPW commitments in February. Ospreay appeared on the February 28 episode of AEW Dynamite before he defeated Konozuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution.
Ospreay was back in action in the main event of the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. He defeated his Don Callis Family stablemate Kyle Fletcher in a hard-fought match. After the bell, Bryan Danielson interrupted Ospreay’s celebration and locked eyes with the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
Bryan Danielson is set to face Shane Taylor on the March 9 episode of AEW Collision.
