Report: AEW Revolution Grossed Over $1 Million In Ticket Sales

AEW Revolution was reportedly a big success from a financial perspective.

AEW held AEW Revolution at the Greensboro Coliseum on March 3. The event was headlined by Sting’s last match. He and Darby Allin defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks.

Don Muret of Venues Now reports that 16,118 fans were in attendance at the sold-out Greensboro Coliseum for the pay-per-view, which generated over $1 million in ticket sales. The report notes that the average ticket price was $55, per the venue’s deputy director, Scott Johnson.

Muret writes that, per Johnson, the event was well-orchestrated by AEW in conjunction with the venue’s staff. The report also notes that the show generated $306,242 in concessions receipts and $349,000 in gross sales for merchandise. Johnson noted that the numbers were more in line with a concert, as they were on the high end for a family show.

AEW’s next pay-per-view will be AEW Dynasty in St. Louis on April 21.
